Material:Computers, internet, projector, smartboard, pens, sheets of paper
Competences:Communication in foreign language, digital competences, social competences, critical thinking

Expected results:Students will understand that different jobs require different skills and qualifications
Expected difficulties:Students have little knowledge about people’s activities related to their jobs
Follow up if any:Ss prepare and present a role play of a job candidate inquiring about an advertised job

4’Preparatory part: Warm-up activity
Objective:  To break the ice and introduce the topic of the lesson
T: Write down as many jobs as you can in 2 minutes, starting with jobs you would like to do. Think of people you know or jobs you have seen on TV/film. After the two minutes you will read some of them out loud to the class.
Ss: Do the task in pairs.
T picks out several examples. What skills do you need to get this job?
Ss discuss and report.

5’Activity 1:
Objective: To get to know skills and characteristics needed for different jobs
T: Now you will access the link ……. and do an interactive task in which you will match the jobs with the suitable skills and characteristics. You will work individually.
Ss: Access the link and do the task.

5’Activity 2:
Objective: To practise the names of jobs and suitable candidates
T: How do people find jobs nowadays?
Ss: Work in pairs/groups and discuss the question. Their answers could be: in a newspaper, on noticeboards, word of mouth or online.
T: For the next activity you access the link ….. and read some advertisements, then use the words in the list to name the jobs being advertised.
SS: Access the link and do the task.T: Which of these jobs are more common in your community?
Ss: Share their opinions with the class.

5’Activity 3:
Objective: To explore the language and vocabulary used in a job interview
T: You will access the link …. and order the following sentences to make a job interview dialogue between the interviewer and an interviewee.
