Aims:Get to know a wide range of professions in the field of Computer Science, where English is needed , and gain knowledge of the professions for students. Help in choosing the best profession for students according to their interests, knowledge and skills.
Suggested # of students per group:15 – 20
Time of the main activity:15’
Material:Pen, cards, phone or tablet, multimedia projector.
Competences:Scientific competence, digital competence, personal competence, social competence.
Preparatory actions if any:At the beginning of the school year, students choose professions in the field of Computer Science, in which knowledge of English is necessary for them. During the school year, they conduct interviews with selected specialists and draw up a summary.
Expected results:Knowledge of as many professions as possible in which knowledge of English is essential.
Expected difficulties:Find out what difficulties students have in choosing a profession in Computer Science.
Follow up if any:During the school year 2-3 times 25-minute presentation and discussion of the competition.

41.PREPARATORY ACTION
1)  The first part of lesson:
Objective: to get to know and familiarize other students with professions requiring English in the Computer Science Department.
Each of the students writes on the cards the professions in the field of Computer Science, for the performance of which English is necessary.
Students exchange professions.
Brainstorming Individual work    
52) The second part of  lesson:                                                                                       
Students work in pairs. Each couple justifies the choice of a particular profession. Conduct a discussion by profession in the field of Computer Science.                                
If necessary, the teacher adds new professions that  have  not  been mentioned by the students.
